Thank you for using Unified Gallery ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
🚨 Important: We Do Not Store Your Files
Unified Gallery is a client-side gallery application. We do not copy, upload, store, or back up your photos or videos on our servers. All media is accessed directly from your connected cloud services and displayed on your device.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information required for the App to function:
- Account Information: We use Firebase Authentication (Google Sign-In) to identify you. This includes basic profile details such as your email address and name.
- Cloud Access Tokens: To show your photos, the App requests permission to access your connected cloud storage accounts. Access tokens are stored locally on your device using secure encryption.
- Crash Diagnostics: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports to improve stability. These reports do not include personal photos, videos, or files.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To Display Your Media: Tokens are used to fetch and display photo and video lists from your connected cloud services.
- Local App Features: Favorites, albums, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
3. Third-Party Cloud Services
Unified Gallery connects to third-party cloud services only when you explicitly choose to link them. Their use of your data is governed by their respective privacy policies:
- Google Drive (Photos access depends on user permissions)
- Microsoft OneDrive
- Dropbox
- Box
- WebDAV Providers: Including Nextcloud, Synology, QNAP, or self-hosted servers. Data flows directly between your device and your server.
4. Data Security
- Encrypted Storage: Access credentials are stored using platform-secure storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain).
- No Server Storage: Unified Gallery does not process or store your files on backend servers.
5. Data Deletion
You are always in control of your data:
- You can disconnect any cloud service at any time.
- You can delete your account and all locally stored app data using the "Delete Account" option inside the App.

6. Advertising & Data Sharing
We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or third parties.
